Squarespace vs Wordpress

After spending a week trying to get a handcoded site I built using a responsive layout to not look horrific in certain versions of IE, I have thrown in the towel (for now) and switched to Squarespace, an elegant but somewhat limited hosted CMS.
The decision came down to Wordpress and Squarespace and after evaluating both, setting up sites and playing around for a bit, the designer in me fell pretty hard for Squarespace. The intuitive interface, attention to design details, control of layout, included themes and clear documentation won me over. Now if I can only figure out how to install the auto-generating sticky content creation module, I'll have this blog humming along in no time.
I'll give some progress reports in the coming months, but so far, aside from some gallery quirks, the only thing I really want is an easy way to implement a mobile version of my site. It proabaly already exists since the Squarespace community is pretty active, I just need to dig around some more and find it.
